We have one rental cottage, the Log Cabin, also known as #8. The Log Cabin, built in 1918, is Northwoods Rustic, which has modern conveniences and is located on the water.
Our authentic log cabin was built in 1918 and has the charm of days past with the conveniences of today. The main level has a bedroom (with a queen-size bed), a full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, sink, microwave, & kitchen table), a bathroom (with sink and shower), a bathroom (with toilet and sink), and a dining area, adjoining the living room, with a wood-burning stone fireplace. French doors open to a deck steps from the lake. The upper level has bedroom #1 (with a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed), bedroom #2 (with a queen-size bed), bedroom #3 (with a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed), and bedroom #4 (with 2 twin-size beds). This cabin rents for up to six people, but will sleep more (an extra per person charge over six will apply). The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, and a coffee maker. Pets are allowed with approval (an extra charge will apply). A fire ring is lakeside, in front of the cabin. A charcoal grill and a 14′ aluminum rowboat are included with the rental. Blankets and pillows are available, but you must bring your sheets, pillowcases, and towels.
